CASE STUDY
CHESTERFIELD ELEMENTARY, MO

The Morse Group has volunteered its services to a number of events and programs associated with Chesterfield Elementary School.  The following is a sample of TMG involvement.

1) Teacher Tree: Chesterfield Elementary, Chesterfield, MO.
The 5th Grade Class Gift Project for the school is to create a piece of public art that will showcase in front of the school.  A leadership team of 8 representative students have worked to develop the project that the 5th grade students will help to create.  The following is a rendering of what the students envisioned after their work sessions that were facilitated by The Morse Group.  The leadership team presented two solutions to the rest of the 5th grade to vote on.

Each student will make a fused glass piece that will be applied to a concrete tree that will be mounted to the earth in front of the school.

Let the games begin!!  5th graders and parents start the excavation for the tree!!

Thank goodness the digging machine arrived.

A victorious kids crew for day one!!

The final preparation.  Virginia Panzitta helps Stuart with final installation.  Virginia was the lead coordinator of volunteers and student participation on the project.

The UNVEILING!  Stuart Morse (TMG) and Shug Goodlow (guest glass artist on project).
Shug worked closely with the kids to create their individual pieces of fused glass.

The kids admire their work.
